MIRADAS COMPARTIDAS PART FOUR
Photo Project Pro also confirms for 2024 the realization of the exhibition held in Havana in November. For this reason, the preparations for the fourth edition of Miradas Compartidas have been officially kicked off. Once again, the photographic exhibition will be hosted in the rooms located on the ground floor of the Palacio de Lombillo, one of the most accredited institutional spaces that offers major photographic exhibitions to the public. The building, which dates back to the Spanish colonial period, is protected by Cuban laws on the island's historical heritage and overlooks the Caribbean capital's most important and famous square: Plaza de la Catedral. The format, now proven, involves the simultaneous participation of Italian and Cuban authors who show the public their most representative personal research. A total of 20 authors are involved, 10 photographers per nation, exhibiting 6 photographs for a total of 120 shots capable of illustrating to visitors much of the creative trends present in their respective national poetics. Consolidated from the three previous editions Miradas Compartidas represents an event capable of giving emerging authors great media visibility, but above all a series of constructive stimuli for the evolution of their artistic careers. The project conceived and curated by photographers Mino Di Vita and Alain Cabrera is not a competition, but an international photographic review that is included, as a special project, in the programming of the Noviembre Fotografico events sponsored by the Fototeca of Cuba and the National Council of Plastic Arts. Miradas Compartidas has been included in the programming of the Semana della Cultura Italiana en Cuba, organized every year by the Embassy of Italy in Havana in the last week of November.

MC GLOBAL AUTHORS
This year Miradas Compartidas expands and welcomes the new MC Global section, created to open the exhibition's doors to photographers from around the world. The idea stems from a desire to explore a concept of vision and visual storytelling that is not limited to just two countries or cultures, but embraces stories, perspectives and realities from every corner of the planet. The MC Global section, in the same way as Miradas Compartidas, is designed to accommodate projects that narrate the interconnectedness of our time: themes that address climate change, cultural resilience, social struggles, the beauty and challenges of the natural world, and humanity in its many facets. This expansion represents an important step, a decision made to create a visual bridge between different contexts and realities, because we believe that every image can expand our understanding of the world. MC Global completes the inclusive platform, dedicated to those who wish to tell stories that know no boundaries. The new section offers a valuable opportunity for dialogue between artists, audiences and cultures, where photography becomes the universal tool to communicate emotions, challenges and perspectives that affect us all, locally and globally. With MC Global, Miradas Compartidas opens to the inspiration and creativity of a truly borderless artistic community, to celebrate together the power of images and the power of sharing.
