Miradas Compartidas 25
L’Avana

Photo Project Pro has confirmed that the exhibition will be held in Havana in November 2025. For this reason, preparations for the fifth edition of Miradas Compartidas have officially begun. Once again, the photography exhibition will be hosted in the rooms on the ground floor of the Palacio de Lombillo, one of the most prestigious institutional spaces offering the public photography exhibitions of great importance. The building, which dates back to the Spanish colonial period, is protected by Cuban laws on the island's historical heritage and overlooks the most important and famous square in the Caribbean capital: Plaza de la Catedral.

The tried and tested format involves the simultaneous participation of Italian and Cuban artists who show the public their most representative personal research. A total of 20 artists are involved, 10 photographers per country, exhibiting 6 photographs each for a total of 120 shots that illustrate to visitors most of the creative trends present in their respective national poetics.

Consolidated by the four previous editions, Miradas Compartidas is an event that gives emerging authors great media visibility, but above all a series of constructive stimuli for the evolution of their artistic careers.

The project, conceived and curated by photographers Mino Di Vita and Alain Cabrera, is not a competition but an international photography exhibition that forms part of the program of events for Noviembre Fotográfico, sponsored by the Fototeca de Cuba and the National Council of Plastic Arts. Miradas Compartidas has been included in the program of the Semana della Cultura Italiana en Cuba (Italian Culture Week in Cuba), organized every year by the Italian Embassy in Havana during the last week of November.
