Art. 1 - Aims
The purpose of the photo contest is to select finalists from which to identify participants for the group exhibition Virtually.

Art. 2 - Recipients
The selection is open to all adult photographers of any nationality, including those not resident in Italy.

Art. 3 - Object
The subject of the selection is all photographic projects consisting of at least 5 photographs. Each project must be realised by a single author. Projects with four or more hands and containing less than 5 photographs will not be accepted. The theme is free in order not to restrict the artists' personal research. It is not necessary that the project has already been printed and it does not matter if it is unpublished or already published. Each author may only submit one project, even if it has already been submitted in previous editions of  VIRTUALLY, as long as the project has never been selected as a finalist project. Authors who were finalists of one edition of the photo contest may participate in the following editions, but only if they submit a different project from the one that was selected in the previous editions.

Art. 4 - Entry fee
If selected, the author agrees to pay a participation fee of €65.00, as a contribution to partially cover organizational expenses, by bank transfer net of any taxes or bank fees, if due. The fee can also be paid through Stripe, but will be increased by the amount of the relevant fee. The participation fee is non-refundable. References for making the payment will be sent to the selected in the email notifying the outcome of the selection. The payment of the participation fee should be made at the same time as the confirmation of participation by the selected person.

Art. 5 - Documentation required
For each project, the documentation to be submitted must consist of:
a_ minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 photographs (even if the project contemplates a greater number) in jpg format, without signatures or credits, with a resolution of 1200px wide for horizontal photos, 800px high for vertical photos and 800px for square photos, not exceeding 500 KB in weight each. Title and year of photos in the form "title, year" is required. If the title is missing, untitle in the form "untitle, year" will be used. Photo titles can be given directly in the file name of the photo or separately in a .DOC document, no other format is accepted (use of this format will allow the secretary to use copy and paste and speed up registration operations).

b_ descriptive text of the project (PDF or DOC file no other format is accepted) max 1,500 characters including spaces,
c_ curriculum vitae (PDF or DOC file no other format is accepted) max 1,000 characters including spaces.
All the material requested must be contained in a folder named with the name and surname of the author and sent by WeTransfer, inserting the link directly into the appropriate field in the data collection form at the bottom of the call page.

Art. 6 - Selection
The selection of the finalist photo projects is entrusted to the jury whose decisions are final and unchallengeable. The outcome will be communicated only to those selected by text message (priority to whatsapp) and mail. In case of withdrawal or no response within 3 days of receiving the outcome (including Saturday and Sunday), the selected will be automatically excluded and the next author in the ranking will be involved instead.

Art. 6 bis - Assignment of titles
a_ The title of Virtually Most Shared will be awarded to only one participant per collective. The recipient must obtain the highest number of preferences expressed by the public within the post of the relevant collective published on the Photo Project Pro Facebook page. Valid preferences are exclusively those expressed by users during the entire duration of the exhibition, from 10 a.m. on the first day until no later than 6 p.m. on the last day. If the exhibition is extended, the deadline will slip to 6 p.m. on the last day of extension. The days indicated on the relevant exhibition page posted on the Photo Project Pro website will expressly apply. All Virtually Most Shared names will be published on the Page of Fame.

b_ The title of Virtually Excellence will be awarded by the committee at the end of the year, after the last scheduled collective has been held. There will be a maximum of 6 recipients of the title, selected from all participants in the collectives of the year in question. The committee's judgment on the awarding of the title is final and unappealable. All Virtually Excellence names will be published on the Page of Fame. In addition, authors who are recipients of this title will be offered an individual interview on Underlined.
