EXHIBITING THE SELECTION OF
ITALIAN AUTHORS
with the patronage of:

This exhibition is one of the most important events organized by Photo Project Pro abroad, an extraordinary international showcase designed to give visibility to the projects of Italian photographers engaged in artistic research. The event, which in each of its editions has always registered extraordinary public success, boasts the patronage of two prestigious institutions: the Italy Japan Foundation in Rome and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo. The selection is open to all photographers over 18 years of age of Italian nationality, including those not resident in Italy, who believe they have developed a particularly interesting photographic project. To avoid creative limitations, no theme has been set. The idea, now tried and tested, is to identify a group of Italian photographers who present the project considered among the most representative of their personal production. For each project, the 6 most significant photographs are displayed, giving shape to a particular exhibition that is at times similar to an installation. A QR code that will point to each author's file, hosted on this site within a dedicated page, allows the public to view the remaining photos, biographical information about the author, as well as a description of the project. The authors are selected by an internal committee of Photo Project Pro APS and participate in the exhibition scheduled annually in the Roonee 247 Fine Arts gallery space. The Japanese gallery, which has been focusing on photography for many years, is directed by Toshiyuki Shinoara and is located in Higashi Nihombashi a district of Tokyo just a few subway stops from Ginza.
