ALSO FOR 2020 PHOTO PROJECT PRO
WILL BE IN JAPAN WITH AN EXHIBITION
Meticulously selected by curator Mino Di Vita, 16 Italian authors will have the privilege of taking part in the Visuali Italiane exhibition organised in Tokyo from 18 to 23 February 2020 in the space of the Roonee 247 Fine Arts gallery, specialised in photography thanks to the long experience of president Toshi Shinoara and director Kanako Sugimori.
Now in its second year, the event is another of the prestigious ones organised by Photo Project Pro in Italy and abroad.
This year's exhibition is once again sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo and the Italy Japan Foundation in Rome, who together wished to demonstrate their appreciation for a showcase designed to give international visibility to the projects of photographers engaged in artistic research.
LIST OF AUTHORS DEFINED
WHICH WILL EXHIBIT PROJECTS TO TOKYO
From the countless proposals received, the curator's careful analysis identified the names of the authors whose projects will be exhibited in Tokyo:
Arianna Angeloni, Maurizio Esposito, Alessandro Gallo, Matteo Garzonio, Paolo Maggiani, Gaia Magoni, Alberto Magrin, Franco Martelli Rossi, Matteo Mezzadri, Michele Molinari, Lucia Perri, Norma Picciotto, Maurizio Staffetta, Claudio Spoletini, Massimo Zampetti and Diego Zitelli.
Together, the artists present a production that is varied in terms of themes, techniques and styles, but ideal for telling the Japanese public a synthesis of the most original of the research currently being developed by new Italian talents.
These are not just photographs, but a wide-ranging collection of sensations and emotions capable of conveying the perception of the thoughts of the authors who created them, and which better than any other literary expression explain the meaning of the title Visuali Italiane.
