Finally, after two years of absence due to the pandemic, the photographic exhibition VISUALI ITALIANE returns by popular demand to Tokyo from 8 - 14 August 2022.
The event, in previous editions, was an extraordinary success with the public and was sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italy Japan Foundation. Once again an excellent result for one of the exhibitions organised abroad by Photo Project Pro in collaboration with the Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia.
The selected authors are emerging artists of all ages who feel they have developed a particularly interesting project that was submitted, for evaluation, to the internal commission that, to avoid creative limits, did not define any theme and left it free. The idea, now tried and tested, is to identify a group of Italian photographers who will present the project they consider most representative of their artistic research, and given the extraordinary number of registrations of excellent quality for the selection, it was decided to increase the number of participants to 18, to give more authors the opportunity to exhibit. For each project, the 6 most significant photographs of each author will be exhibited, which will give shape to this particular exhibition similar to an installation. In this case too, a QR code pointing to each author's file, hosted inside the ArchivioFMF, will enable the public to view the remaining photos and biographical information on the author, as well as a description of the project.Once again, the exhibition space for this edition will be that of the Roonee 247 Fine Arts gallery, which has specialised in photography for many years, located in Higashi Nihombashi, a district of Tokyo just a few metro stops from Ginza.
