ONCE AGAIN IN JAPAN
One year later, preparations are restarting for the fourth edition of Visuali Italiane, one of the important events organized by Photo Project Pro abroad. The exhibition is an extraordinary international showcase designed to give visibility to the projects of photographers engaged in artistic research. The event, which in previous editions has always been an extraordinary success with the public, will also this year boast the patronage of two prestigious institutions: the Italy Japan Foundation in Rome and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo. The selection is open to all photographers over 18 years of age of Italian nationality, including those not resident in Italy, who believe they have developed a particularly interesting photographic project to be submitted to the examining board. To avoid creative limitations, no theme has been set. The idea, now tried and tested, is to identify a group of Italian photographers who will present the project considered among the most representative of their personal production. For each project, the 6 most significant photographs will be exhibited, which will shape this particular exhibition at times resembling an installation. A QR code that will point to each author's file, hosted within a dedicated page, will enable the public to view the remaining photos, biographical information about the author, as well as a description of the project. The authors who are selected will have the privilege of participating in the exhibition scheduled for June 18-25, 2023 in the space of the Roonee 247 Fine Arts gallery, which has been involved in photography for years, located in Higashi Nihombashi a district of Tokyo just a few subway stops from Ginza.
